Job Description
A forward-thinking IT services and consulting firm is actively recruiting a Senior ITOM Engineer to join our esteemed team in Bangalore. We are seeking a professional who is not only adept in IT Operations Management (ITOM) but also possesses a deep understanding of ServiceNow, Application Performance Management (APM), and platform scripting for automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage comprehensive ITOM solutions, including Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Develop and maintain the Configuration Management Database.
- Advance our IT Service Management (ITSM) by refining processes and supporting incident, problem, and change management.
- Enhance application performance monitoring and management, identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks.
- Employ strong scripting capabilities to automate platform tasks, contributing to the efficiency and reliability of IT operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5-8 years of experience in IT Operations, with a focus on ITOM, CMDB, ITSM, and APM.
- Proficiency in scripting for automation purposes, such as Python or PowerShell.
- Experience with ITOM tools like ServiceNow and APM solutions is essential.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and collaborative skills.
Skillset:
- Professional IT certifications related to ITOM, ITSM, or APM.
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
