A leading technology firm is seeking a seasoned Data Scientist with extensive experience in Azure AI, Cognitive Services, and modern data science technologies. With 7+ years of IT experience, including a minimum of 5 years specializing in Azure’s AI offerings like OpenAI embeddings, Cognitive Search, GPT models, and Cognitive Services, this role is perfect for an expert ready to lead and innovate in data science solutions.
Core Responsibilities:
- Azure AI and Cognitive Services Mastery: In-depth expertise with Azure Open AI, including text-embedding models, chat and completion models (Text-davinci-003, GPT-3.5-turbo, GPT-4), and Azure Cognitive Services (Speech to Text, Translator, Computer Vision).
- Advanced Data Handling: Proficiency in vector databases, embeddings, and LangChain, alongside strong Python skills and prompting techniques.
- Azure Development: Experience with Azure App Service, Azure Bot Framework, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Azure Cognitive Search, and Azure Blob Storage.
- Technical Leadership: Lead technical design, direction, and solution architecture, ensuring comprehensive alignment with stakeholder requirements across business, people, process, and systems domains.
- Requirements Gathering: Expertise in gathering business and technical requirements to produce detailed specifications and solution descriptions.
Secondary Skills:
- Project Leadership: Strong experience in technically leading complex projects through the complete IT lifecycle, from analysis and design to build, test, and production.
- Matrix Organization Experience: Demonstrated ability to work within a matrix organization, balancing the needs of diverse stakeholders.
