Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Senior Consultant, Assistant Manager, or Manager in the Statutory Audit department. We’re a leading consulting firm, with roles available in Bangalore, Gurugram, Jaipur, Chandigarh, and Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Audits: You will perform operational, financial, process, and systems audits. Your main objective is to review and appraise our firm’s activities, systems, and controls.
  2. Issue Identification & Resolution: You should be able to identify accounting and auditing issues. Discuss these with the audit in-charge to solve problems as they arise.
  3. Substantive Testing: You will carry out substantive testing of appliances according to our formulated audit plan. Document all performed work properly.
  4. System & Procedure Improvement: You should be capable of identifying improvements to our control systems and procedures.
  5. Report Presentation: You will present audit reports that clearly highlight our key audit recommendations to the management.
  6. Account Maintenance & Reconciliation: Prepare and maintain statutory books of accounts and audits. Perform reconciliation of account receivables and payables and finalization of accounts.
  7. Assisting Seniors: Assist senior team members in reviewing and checking the financial statements. You will also aid in the preparation of the audit report, management comment letter, and management representation letter.

Requirements:

  1. Knowledge: You should have strong knowledge of auditing and accounting standards and should have handled statutory audit assignments earlier.
  2. Multitasking & Ambiguity Management: The ability to prioritize work on multiple assignments and manage ambiguity is crucial.
  3. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.
  4. Assertiveness: You should be assertive and clear in your thoughts.
  5. Written Expression: Your written expression should be effective and creative, characterized by logical flow, readability, and conciseness.
