Job Description
We are hiring for Retainer – Consultant/Sr. Consultant – Kolkata – One of the Strategy & Advisory Firm. Responsibilities : – Policy and Regulatory Scenario in the power and Utility sector
- Drafting of tariff petitions and orders for Power Utilities.
- Cumulative 6 years of experience of working in regulatory support to state owned DISCOMS and/ or support to state electricity regulatory commission for preparation of tariff orders for DISCOMS
- Preparation of Energy sales model/revenue Model/Power purchase Model
- Financial Modelling
- Work independently on consulting projects/ assignments; manage different aspects of project management including quality, timelines, client satisfaction / relationship, etc.
- Energy sector aspects like – Regulations, Policies, Acts etc. particularly linked to distribution, conventional & RE power, etc
- Work on financial and commercial analysis, with ability to critically review sector trends, company financials, regulations, financial projections, sector and company assessments.
- Be open to work on assignments related to current domain strengths in the analytical capacity, simultaneously building knowledge / skills in such new areas.
- Be open to work on assignments across other locations in India and abroad. Willingness to travel for short term assignments.
