Key Responsibilities:
- Stay updated on Regulatory Compliance requirements.
- Leverage experience gained in a bank or financial institution’s Regulatory Compliance department.
- Interpret regulations, circulars, and laws from regulatory bodies.
- Undertake Regulatory Mapping and determine obligations.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of key policies/procedure documents, along with drafting skills.
- Provide Compliance Advisory for specific banking divisions or products.
- Conduct Regulatory Gap Assessments and Regulatory Risk Reviews.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients (process owners/functional heads) and internal teams.
- Prepare regulatory compliance checklists and manage regulatory interactions.
Essential Qualifications:
- Graduate or Postgraduate degree.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Regulatory Compliance.
- Background in the banking sector, specifically in core Regulatory Compliance.
- Willingness to travel outside the assigned office location. A valid passport is required.
Skills and Attributes:
- Proficient in interpreting complex regulations and laws.
