Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud DBA to join our core team. This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of database administration, specifically in cloud environments, and experience in cross-platform migrations. You’ll be instrumental in leading technical projects, providing senior-level support, and guiding our team towards innovative database solutions.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in DBA roles, with at least 5 years focused on cloud DBA responsibilities.
- Proven track record of working with Oracle, MySQL, and MSSQL databases.
- Experience in cross-platform migrations, particularly from Oracle/MySQL/MSSQL to Community editions of MySQL/PostGres.
- Strong capability in project planning and implementation in technical domains.
- Ability to provide technical research and leadership within a team of DBAs.
- History of providing high-level Cloud DBA support to internal customers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute a variety of technical projects involving database migrations and cloud implementations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide expert-level support and guidance on database issues.
- Conduct thorough research and apply innovative solutions to complex database challenges.
- Mentor and guide team members in cloud database management best practices.
- Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our database systems in the cloud environment.
