Job Description

We are looking for a Consultant/Senior Consultant with expertise in Node.js and Microservices for our Big4 client in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience and must be skilled in Node.js, Microservices, and Jest, an open-source JavaScript testing framework developed by Facebook.

Responsibilities:

1. Developing and maintaining all server-side network components.
2. Ensuring optimal performance of the central database and responsiveness to front-end requests.
3. Collaborating with front-end developers on the integration of elements.
4. Designing customer-facing UI and back-end services for various business processes.
5. Developing high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code.
6. Implementing effective security protocols, data protection measures, and storage solutions.
7. Running diagnostic tests, repairing defects, and providing technical support.
8. Documenting Node.js processes, including database schemas, as well as preparing reports.

Requirements:

1. 5+ years of experience in Node.js and Microservices.
2. Proficiency in Jest, the open-source JavaScript testing framework developed by Facebook.
3. Strong knowledge of JavaScript and web development principles.
4. Good problem-solving skills, communication skills, and attention to detail.
5. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information science, or similar.
