Job Description
We are currently on the lookout for skilled Kafka Administrators to join our Fortune 500 IT client, with opportunities available across various locations in India. The selected candidates will be responsible for designing, managing, and supporting Kafka-based data pipelines.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and manage robust Kafka-based data pipelines, ensuring their stability, reliability, and scalability.
- Support Kafka clusters, ensuring their high availability and resolving any issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and implement solutions that optimize data processing and transmission.
- Monitor system performance, optimizing and tuning as necessary.
- Implement security best practices for the Kafka infrastructure, maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive data.
Required Expertise:
- Solid experience in administering Kafka with a focus on designing and managing effective data pipelines.
- Proficiency in supporting Kafka clusters, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with system monitoring and performance tuning.
- Strong understanding of security protocols related to Kafka administration.
