Job Description

We are hiring for the position of Information Security/Cyber Security Specialist for one of the leading MNCs in Bangalore.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Relevant certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) are highly desirable.
3. Proven experience in information security, preferably in a professional capacity.
4. Strong knowledge of information security principles, best practices, and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework).
5. Familiarity with network security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and vulnerability assessment tools.
6. Experience in conducting risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
7. Knowledge of security incident response and forensic investigation procedures.
8. Understanding of regulatory requirements related to information security, such as GDPR or HIPAA.
9. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve security issues.
10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders and educate employees on security practices.
11. High level of integrity and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data privacy.
