Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Android Framework Developer who has a strong understanding of the Android ecosystem. Your primary focus will be on debugging and analyzing issues in Android system applications, the Android framework, and AOSP. Additionally, you will also be responsible for migrating to new Android versions as they are released.
Key Responsibilities:
- Debugging and Analysis:
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Android system applications, framework, and AOSP.
- Migration and Version Updates:
- Lead and execute the process of migrating to newer versions of Android, ensuring compatibility and feature consistency.
- Performance Optimization:
- Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize for speed and reliability.
- Code Reviews and Best Practices:
- Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features or resolve issues.
- Documentation:
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation detailing code changes, architecture, and troubleshooting steps.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong understanding of Android system applications and framework.
- Familiarity with AOSP and the Android update process.
- Proven debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
